Camp is now open and the Youth program is in full swing. SLOW DOWN when you enter the gates to Camp. Be alert to your surroundings and the presence of children and NO PARKING at your cottages. CAMP COMMITTEE - Cottage Owners, this is our final week of the Youth Program. The kids have had a great summer and have been practicing all week for the Final Show. The Final Show will be at 7:00 on Saturday, followed by a dance for the kids in the dining room and a DJ in the Raths. Come join us on Saturday morning at 10 am (Sugar Bowl) to help set up the backdrop and lighting for the Final Show. We would like to thank the Staff, the Youth Committee and the Tiny Tot's Leaders for affording our children a great Summer. The weather has been either hot and steamy or very rainy and this group has continued to stay flexible, so the program has been fun and engaging every single day. Thank you again for your passion, time and energy this Summer. We would also like to thank our Building and Grounds Committee (led by Tom Turner) and Dave Cross for their constant vigilence through all the storms this Summer. They have continued to regrade the roads after every monsoon, cleared downed trees and identified high risk trees for removal. Summer is typically a slow season for B&G but not this year. There has rarely been a time our burn pits have not been overflowing. Thanks for your's and the committee's (including the Millionaires) time for keeping Camp safe and clean.
KITCHEN - Ingrid will once again have grilled cheese sandwiches available for the kids during the Friday night Fish Fry (8/9).from 5:30 to 6:45pm.

A few notes, please note that tips are only allowed in cash moving forward, the bartenders can no longer accept coupons as tips. Also please remember that we should not be drinking and driving around camp. If you plan to partake in a few cold ones, make sure you are being safe and walking back to your cottage. Driving through camp while intoxicated puts everyone at risk - including yourself. Thank you for your attention! Bartenders will be ID'ing as per our usual procedures, please be sure to bring your ID to the Rath’s.
YOUTH - This week on the field, the sport of the week was soccer! All kids were in love with the sport and showed great enthusiasm! Kids stayed active and wowed staff with how fast they can learn! We wrapped up the week with Bring your Parents to Program Day! Kids showed what they learned and impressed their parents. However, the parents did come out with the win! Campers of the Week were Vinny Bialk, Lucci Bialk, Lia Ganatos, and Matthew Moore.
Up at the pool, the campers had lots of fun learning even more swimming skills and practicing them during lessons. Lots of fun games were played and the kids had a great time. On Monday, we had a board game day at the dining hall due to rainy weather! Rain or shine, we make the most out of our swim lessons time. The Swimmers of the Week were Eloise Pohlman, JD Hamontree, Dex Peterson, Charlotte Kinkley, Carter Gibson, and Emerson Alexander.
