Illinois Turner Camp Memorial Pool

The Turner Camp Pool boasts 198,000 gallon capacity, with 6 Olympic size lap lanes and diving area.  Built originally in 1980, this concrete pool was refurbished to a fiberglass pool in the Spring of 2008, adding valuable years to this important asset of Turner Camp.

There is also a Baby Wading Pool, a separate beer garden and a covered deck for reading or enjoying the pool atmosphere out of direct sunlight.  The pool is open 7 days a week, with swimming lessons, water aerobics and free swim.  On the weekends, the pool is an important gathering place for families with open swim.

Turner Camp holds an Annual Swim Meet for campers and families and a Pool Party during the summer to raise funds and offset pool costs.  The Camp Pool typically opens first week of June and closes on Labor Day weekend, and gets a ton of use during those open months.
