CAMP - We are approaching the 4th of July weekend and with that comes celebrations and a loaded schedule of events at Camp.  Refer to the schedule of events in this Bulletin or go to the illiniosturners.org site for the overall calendar.  We look forward to seeing you at these events and wish you a safe and happy holiday weekend!!

In response to ongoing challenges with people parking at their cottages, the District Council has updated the parking policy to include specific timing and fines.  Please see the revised section from the Rules and Regulations (updated 6/25/22) below:

Parking near cottages is prohibited.  Cottage owners are permitted to load or unload from their vehicles from service roads only for no more than 15 minutes, but ALL vehicles MUST be parked in a designated parking lot as indicated on the Camp map except for the Building and Grounds Committee Chairperson during active work hours and ongoing Camp projects.  On an annual basis, parking violators will receive a verbal warning for the first infraction, a written warning for the second infraction, a $100 fine for the third infraction, and a $200 fine per infraction thereafter.  Continued violation of the parking policy may be subject to additional action by the Camp Committee and/or the Illinois District Council. Thank you,
Cory Litza Cottage Owners Presidents

Tom Webb - yet another lifelong Turner. He's married to Lisa and has been coming to camp since he was a kid. His involvement with the kitchen comes naturally after a career in the restaurant business, including owning his own restaurants. Tom can be seen running around camp as he is a fitness nut. He also has some good stories about the shower that used to be in the Rathskeller.  Give that man a rum and coke!
Randy Roe - Randy is a longtime Turner whose been very involved on the Aurora Board and was president for four years recently. Randy has worked his way up the Union Steward of the Fish Fry Workers of Algonquin. Give that man a Miller 64!
Thanks, Scott

YOUTH - Hi, Turners! Another week of program flew by at camp and this one was a great one! Rock Concert went very well, and the campers and staff had a great time creating our acts. The campers of the week this past week were Declan DeRusha and Esther Jacobs. They did a great job putting in extra effort and having positive attitudes!
At the pool, we had another fantastic week. A bunch of campers moved up groups right in time for Water Show and 25 Mile Swim was incredible! The campers are working hard to get more miles under their belts! The Tiny Tots Swimmer of the Week was Gio Bialk, the Beginners Swimmer of the Week was Grace Emory, the Advanced Beginners Swimmer of the Week was Charlotte Kinkly, the Intermediates Swimmer of the Week was Kellen Schaul, and the Swimmers Swimmer of the Week was Cassidy Koester!
