Youth Pool - This week started off a little rainy, but we ended up with some sunshine and had a fantastic week. Last weeks campers of the week were Kylie Maddox and Colton Koester, congrats to our campers of the week!
Week 3 at the pool was wonderful; we finally had some good weather, and we were able to have swim lessons most of the week! Congratulations to last week’s Swimmer of the Week: Tiny Tots - Nathan Becker, Beginners - Vivie Smith, Advanced Beginners - Frankie Bialk, Intermediates - Oliver Smith, and Swimmers - Addie Tuecke! Some pool reminders; one whistle means the lifeguard is trying to get your attention, two whistles means the lifeguards and trying to talk to each other, and three whistles mean there is an emergency, and everyone needs to get out of the pool. There will also be randomized weekly saves conducted, if you are at the pool when this drill is happening, please do not be alarmed as it will become clear in a moment that the lifeguards are only practicing. Next week is also Water Show, the theme will be announced on Monday! There will be a costume meeting at the pool on Monday, July 5th at 3pm in the concessions. The show is on Saturday, July 10th at 6pm! Please contact Madison Dahm for further questions. Keep up the great work swimming, campers! Thank you, Madison

Rathskeller Bar - Welcome back to the bar in 2021! We are excited to serve you all this summer! Some important notes regarding the bar:
    1. It is illegal to drink alcohol under the age of 21 which also means it is illegal to purchase and provide alcohol to anyone under the age of 21!
    2. ID will be requested for anyone who appears to be under age 35 as required by law. Your hand will be stamped once we have verified you are 21 or over.
    3. If a bartender feels that you have been overserved, they will be cutting off service.

Please understand that it is our right to do so to protect you and camp. Please refrain from giving the bartenders a hard time if this happens to you.  With that being said, we hope this summer is one for the record books! Tina will be back with Specials from time to time – watch out for more info in the weekly bulletin!  Thank you, Tina

FAMILY FEST – WHAT AN AMAZING DAY!!!!  The sky opened up; the sun came out as the fest began.  Our hearts are full of joy.

Thank you to all who helped as well as all the donations we received to make it a huge success.  Our Turner Family is absolutely wonderful!!! We are still waiting for a few invoices to finalize the grand total.  Stay tune for next weeks bulletin for the grand total and a list of all our great volunteers.  Make sure to share all of your pictures of the day on our Turner Camp Facebook page.  Love you all, Chris, Kate and the Family Fest Team

TURNERS - As the mitigation guidelines evolve; ITC will add events and activities‼️
Remember everyone needs to help and volunteer… We are still looking for many volunteers to keep the festivities going each and every week… if we don’t get all the positions filled, the festivities will be cancelled for that particular week!  The sign up QR code is in every bathroom throughout Turner camp, on Turner Camp Facebook, and District website!  LET’S ALL DO OUR PART!  And an added bonus… Just for volunteering you get two free drinks and a free dinner. HUGE THANKS to those who have volunteered to help with events. HUGE THANKS for a successful Family Fest‼️ Campers are reminded to park their vehicles in the lots, NOT next to cottages! Please drive slowly and carefully through camp‼️ We have lots and lots of children in camp!  Thanks, Art
Please Contact the following people if you are not able to sign up with QR or Facebook.
Mary Becker for bar

Recycling - Welcome back everyone! How nice is it to be back in our camp even if it is only mostly open??!! Let’s hope we never see another year from hell like we did last year. Like everything else the recycling program took a hit but survived because you made it survive. Thank you so much! We mean that.
We have been working on recouping and revamping the program and this is where it’s at. There are still the two large recycling dumpsters, one in the large parking lot the other directly behind the Rathskeller. There is a small can in the drink/ food area at the pool also. At the Rathskeller, inside there are 3 blue cans clearly marked with the recycling logo and with a lid on them that will only accept cans and bottles. There are the same outside the Raths, just not with blue cans. This is still a work in progress and will continue to improve and evolve and the year goes on. Thanks for your help with this. Building and Grounds

Pool Tags - There will be no pool tags this year, and the pool will be restricted to members and their immediate family.

Handicapped parking privileges – DOES NOT entitle anyone to park their vehicles next to the cottage 24/7!  Able individuals should be parking the vehicles in the lots when not using the vehicles.

Golf cart privileges - MUST be approved by the Camp Committee.  You
will need to submit a formal request to the Camp Committee for approval. Thank you, Art

Auxiliary card party - July 17th at the Dining Hall, 7:30 P.M.  Tickets are $2.  Due to the close down, there was no Card Party last year.  We hope that you will participate with donations and attendance this year.  Funds are necessary for the upkeep of the building.  The house is also available for rental at $50. Thanks, Ann
Fund raiser for the Ladies Auxiliary - Turner Camp logo - $3 each or two for $5.  See Ann
Turner Ladies - we are hoping to begin using the Ladies’ Clubhouse again.  It is a beautiful old building that has not seen much use in the past years.  It is our hope to have it open for game days on Tuesdays starting Tuesday, June 22nd from 10:00 AM until ?  Bring your own group and game or come alone and join in with others.  Everyone is welcome.  Come once or every week as it suits your schedule.  We are suggesting a voluntary donation of $3.00 for each visit to help defray the cost of utilities, with any surplus being donated to the Clubhouse at the end of the season.  If you have any questions contact Bev Hussar, Ann Litza or Barbie Zweifel. Thank you, Ann
