From the Pool – It was another great week at the pool. Even with all the crazy weather, the campers are eager to get in the water…Water Show is approaching quickly! Congratulations to last weeks Swimmers of the Week! Kelli
From the Field – We had a fun week up on the field getting ready for the Rock Concert! The kids have all been working really hard on their acts and can’t wait to showcase them tonight after awards. Lili
Restaurant – the Fish Fry has begun!  We have a number of menu changes we think you’ll like.  For the Fish Fry we’ve added baked Salmon to the every Friday menu.  For Friday and Saturday grill we’ve added a new healthy choice Turkey Burger, plain or with cheese.  We’ve also added a few new appetizers, Cheese Curds, Cheddar Bacon Jalapeno Poppers, and Honey Sricha Cheese Sticks.  This Friday don’t miss Joe Gatz & Scott Odachowski’s smoked pulled pork special.  Next week’s special is Fried Walleye.
The Prime Rib dinner is June 23rd.  We will be taking pre-sale orders at the fish fry for $15/dinner.  At the door will be $18 and we will not be able to guarantee a dinner for everyone who waits till the last minute.
Entertainment -This Friday – DJ on the patio following the kids Rock Concert (weather permitting)June 29 – Just Friends acoustic duo July 6 – Frank Sinatra & the sounds of the 50s and 60s. Volunteer Duties – just a reminder that fulfilling your duties is important to the functioning of camp and our offerings.  Your three duties are a key obligation of being a cottage owner.  If something comes up it is your responsibility to switch with someone or find a suitable replacement.  When duties are missed committee chairs often have to step in to keep things going.  Those folks are already giving generously of their time and really don’t want to do another duty.  A missed duty will result in a $250 fine.  Remember to dress suitably for your duties.  Closed toed shoes and t-shirts are recommended for kitchen duties. Decks, sheds, cottage construction – just a reminder to contact Howard Boress or Kurt Potthast to have Buildings & Grounds review and approve all project plans and timing of the project.

Cottages for bid – watch the bulletin next weekend as the Illinois District will offer some abandoned cottages for bid.  Details will be forthcoming.  This could be your opportunity to get a slice of Camp paradise!
