From Lili and Kelli - "We had an exciting first week back and can't wait for what the rest of the summer has in store! If you enjoyed our program this week, come and show your appreciation by pie-ing us  and the rest of the staff in the face on Friday after Awards for $1 per pie!"

Restaurant – the Fish Frys have begun!  We have a number of menu changes we think you’ll like.  For the Fish Fry we’ve added baked Salmon to the every Friday menu.  For Friday and Saturday grill we’ve added a new healthy choice Turkey Burger, plain or with cheese.  We’ve also added a few new appetizers, Cheese Curds, Cheddar Bacon Jalapeno Poppers, and Honey Sricha Cheese Sticks.  This Friday don’t miss the Shrimp DeJonghe special.  Next week’s special is Joe Gatz & Scott Odachowski’s smoked pulled pork.  Donna Litza is making Sunday dinner great again!  This Sunday, June 10, Donna, Cheryl and their crew are serving BLTs or TLTs and the usual grill items from 530p-7p.  Thanks to Lydia, Vince, and Rob for a fabulous Polish dinner special last Friday!  Thanks to Donna, Cheryl & crew for a nice Sunday dinner that was very well attended.  Their next Sunday dinner is in August when they serve their awesome Reuben Sandwiches.
The Prime Rib dinner is June 23rd.  We will be taking pre-sale orders at the next two fish fry’s for $15/dinner.  At the door will be $18 and we will not be able to guarantee a dinner for everyone who waits till the last minute.
Entertainment – we have entertainment lined up for almost every Friday this summer.  Here’s the next couple of weeks
This weekend - Elvis & Johnny Cash are in the house
June 22 – DJ on the patio following the kids Rock Concert (weather permitting)
June 29 – Just Friends acoustic duo

Volunteer Duties – just a reminder that fulfilling your duties is important to the functioning of camp and our offerings.  Your three duties are a key obligation of being a cottage owner.  If something comes up it is your responsibility to switch with someone or find a suitable replacement.  When duties are missed committee chairs often have to step in to keep things going.  Those folks are already giving generously of their time and really don’t want to do another duty.  A missed duty will result in a $250 fine.  Remember to dress suitably for your duties.  Closed toed shoes and t-shirts are recommended for kitchen duties.
Decks, sheds, cottage construction – just a reminder to contact Howard Boress or Kurt Potthast to have Buildings & Grounds review and approve all project plans and timing of the project.

Youth - A big shout out to our staff and campers for powering through week #1 of Program. It was nice to see so much activity each day on the Afield and at the pool.  If you want to see our campers and staff in action, but can’t quite make it to morning gym or afternoon swim lessons, come to the Rhats next Friday at 7pm and you’ll see them jam out to different styles of music at our annual ITC Rock Concert.  It’s a show you don’t want to miss!
Youth Committee is looking forward to our 2nd annual Family Fest on Saturday, June 30th at 1pm on the Afield.  Once again, roasted pork, corn on the cob, watermelon, baked beans, hot dogs, brats, and potato salad will be available for purchase.  During the fest, you can look forward to more amazing creations from The Bubble Guy, magic and illusions performed by Andy Kline, live music, raffles, and much much more!  As always, we appreciate your generous raffle donations and volunteer hours. Anyone willing to help out with donations, food and drink service, carnival games, set-up and clean up, let Chris Mostyn know as soon as possible.  We can always use the help!
