Welcome Back! The Camp Committee has a great season planned for you. Here is a summary of a few major projects that have been completed since last season.
A Field Bathrooms have been remodeled and spruced up.
A well was dug and installed for the A Field Bathroom and the water spigots in that area of camp. One more well is planned for the big parking lot after this season which will supply the Cicero Bathroom and water spigots in that area of camp.
The new playground equipment was purchased and installed and is already a hit with the Turner kids! Big thanks to Amy Oatey for seeing a need and raising funds toward a solution with the Turner Trot. We are also very blessed to have received significant donations from National Endowment & Trust Fund, the ATNY Fund of New York Turners, Bocci Ball, and Tuna. Look for the dedication coming on Founders Day!
The new Froggy sprinkler is being installed in the baby pool to help keep future Turner Kids cool in the summer.
Restaurant – the first Fish Fry is June 1. We have a number of menu changes we think you’ll like. For the Fish Fry we’ve added baked Salmon to the every Friday menu. For Friday and Saturday grill we’ve added a new healthy choice Turkey Burger, plain or with cheese. We’ve also added a few new appetizers, Cheese Curds, Cheddar Bacon Jalapeno Poppers, and Honey Sricha Cheese Sticks. No specials on June 2, but on June 9 don’t miss Lydia Hodor’s Polish Kielbasa, Pierogies, and Kapusta.

Memorial Swimming Pool Fundraiser - A big thank you for all the volunteers that helped with our Fundraiser. I don’t have totals of amount raised yet but turnout was pretty good considering it was the first weekend of activity.
Thank you to Ross Hugi and Dave Z for donating their tip money from Bar. Also thanks to Donna Litza and Dave Z for cooking delicious chicken dinner.
Our funds need to plan for the day when major repairs or replacement are needed. I Look forward to next year and more fun for opening weekend at Camp. Barb Z
Hello fellow Musicians! We are holding our Hootenanny meeting this Sunday at cottage 159 at 2 pm. Please confirm that you will be able to attend! Also please bring what ? u would like to share to play at the sessions so we all have an idea of what we can participate in We will also have some easy songs that we can all participate in! Looking forward to all getting together! Our first session will be next Thursday June 7 we planned on 6:30 at the Rath. You must be 18 and older. YOUTH - The 2018 camp counselors are well on their way to planning an incredible summer for our youth! During this weekend’s staff training, counselors will collaborate on weekly themes and special events to roll out during summer program. One of our goals this summer is to strengthen our gymnastics program for all Turners involved in program. Counselors Abbie Brooks, Savanah Zbindin, Dylan Brooks and Kyle Abruzzo will work alongside Barb Zweifel to teach a beginner and intermediate leveled gymnastics class during morning program hours Monday through Thursday. In addition to gymnastics, counselors Nick Gerstbrien and Kyle Abruzzo are paired up to develop our first ITC Swim Team. Coaching will take place after swim lessons and games on Thursdays. Let's hear it for our 2018 staff members as they gear up for a fantastic summer: Athletic Field Director- Lili Fujiu; Pool Director-Kelli VanDahm; Assistant Athletic Director- Abbie Brooks; Assistant Athletic/Pool Director-Nick Gerstbrien; Assistant Pool Director-Madison Dahm; Senior Counselor- Makenzie Boress, Dylan Brooks, Avyn Alairys, Savanah Zbindin, and Kyle Abruzzo; Junior Counselor- Kylie Borck and Mike Pardo.
Do you like to party? You're a Turner, of course you like to party! Well save the date because Youth Committee is hosting our 2nd annual Family Fest, taking place Saturday, June 30th at 1pm on the Afield. There will be live music, food, games, raffles, and much much more. Don't miss the fun!
