 CAMP - Labor Day weekend represents our final official weekend of Camp.  We will have our Fish Fry on Friday as we have throughout the weekend and Bocce on Saturday up at Beer Mountain.  Registration is both online (rmd.me/AO.tFfxgOGs) and in person at the Raths on Friday night from 5:30-8.  Sign up and join the fun.  The festivities will continue down at the Raths on Saturday night where the winners will be announced, and DJ Sandy will be playing.  Sunday dinner is Chicken and Waffles at 5:00 with Donna and her crew.  Grill and snack counter will open at 7:30.  Closing out the weekend is the Singles Power Horseshoe Tournament at 9:00 at the Raths with a Bring an Appetizer to Share Party (11:00) to follow.  As you can see it is a fun packed weekend, so come on out and catch up with friends you haven't seen for a few weeks.Cory Litza - Cottage Owners President

ART STUDIO - 9/3-CLOSED - but I will be at camp, if you need to grab something out of the studio.
9/17 -  We will be making fall leaf candle holders at the All-Turner Camp Picnic! Supplies we need: mason jars, leaves (camp should have plenty) and modge podge!  All are welcome, don’t leave your kiddos behind! $5 - all proceeds go to the TCAS 2023 season for  materials & supplies.



ART SUDIO CONT. -  10/22 - FALL/ HALLOWEEN CRAFTINGS -  BRING YOUR KIDDOS! - 11AM to 3PM - $10. We will be pour-painting pumpkins, please bring your own pumpkin. There will be an option to carve a pumpkin if you want to do that instead. Also, there might be an option to pour- paint some fall and Thanksgiving decorations, as well. More information will be coming soon. After that, let enjoy our holidays & remember to be kind to each other❤️

ELGIN SOFTBALL TOUNAMENT -  returns  9/10- 9/11  Come
on up to the Athletic field  Saturday and Sunday for a softball showdown and an eating and drinking throwdown!!!  Sporting an Italian dinner at the Raths Saturday night with entertainment to follow. Could you spare some time to volunteer? Contact the club 847-697-4431 or see Jean Williams over Labor Day Weekend!!! 

 

TUNA TOURNAMENTS - October 1st. Please join us for the 2022 Tuna Tournament.  The barenhole will be open on Friday night for cards and table (beer) pong.  The big event starts Saturday bright and early down at the Fox River.  The TUNA (carp) are calling your name as we fish from 7am to 4 pm.  Also, the annual bags tournament will take place down at the beach as well.  We will have a tent again down at the barenhole with table and chairs to allow more room for awards and bingo on Saturday night.  We will be partnering with Riverview Pizza as a fundraising event and encourage everybody to order to the barenhole and support the TUNA fundraiser for the kid's program.

Don’t forget to share a “Crock Pot of TUNA TUNA TUNA Goodness”  Ashley Livingston is in charge of the set up.  She will be posting information on Turner Camps page for more information.  Please let her know if you will have time to help set up or clean up. Thank you, Ashley!!!

WEEKLY BULLETIN –  I enjoy every minute of doing the bulletin, especially this year.  Not being in Turner Camp everyday for the first time in 27 years I still feel like I am staying in touch.  I hope everyone has a wonderful and winter season.
