RESTARUANT - once again we have some great meals lined up this week.  Friday night we have smoked pork chops & kraut as the special.  Saturday is Laura Oroni's Turkey dinner with dressing and all the trimmings.  This week's spotlight is on Jim Gerstbrein.  Jim is the second longest serving Fish Fry crew member since the early 2000's.  Jim is married to Jean Gerstbrein, a long-time Turner.  In his free time Jim likes competing in local fest contests.  Last year he won a beer stein hoisting competition.  This year he won the contest at Crusher (yes, the old wrestler Crusher) Fest.  Ask him to see the belt he won.  Thanks Jim for all your years of service in the frying of fish!

YOUTH – HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEASON!!! Another great week of Program with kids working on their Hockey skills, passing, shooting, stick handling, etc. all the while practicing their acts for Water show. Even though our Campfire got moved to the Dining Hall due to weather on Wednesday we still had a blast and kids were able to treat it like a normal Campfire, just with no fire… We want to once again thank all Turners out there for their support to our Program, it means the world to us Counselors! We can't wait to see what the 2nd half of the season brings!
Water show week was a blast and the show itself went great! The campers put in a ton of hard work coming up with acts and practicing during program and lessons all week. Thank you to everyone who put time into finding costumes for their kids, making things for the show, and helping to set up before the show! We appreciate all of the support for the kids to show off their swimming.
