CAMP - Please note that there was an error in the Spring Mailer and the July Cottage Owners meeting will be on Saturday 23 at 9:00 for New Cottage Owners and 10:00 for the Standard Cottage Owners meeting.  Please Plan to attend, we will update you on news and information around Camp and it is an opportunity for your voice to be heard.  This is the same date that has been announced in the Friday Bulletins for the past few weeks. The Camp Committee would like to thank all of you for your patience as we have worked with some staffing issues with our Bathrooms this season.  We have faced both illness and injury to the 2 Turner members who are overseeing the bathrooms and it has left us short staffed.  We have had volunteers step up and clean their bathrooms and others offer to stock and maintain those in their areas.  The true Turner Spirit and it has been wonderful to see.  We are now back at full strength with our bathroom staff, so we are optimistic we will be able to keep them maintained moving forward.  With that being said, if you are in your local bathroom and see it could use a quick sweeping or the garbage can is full and should be emptied - we are always happy to accept the help?. With Turner Greetings - Cory Litza, Acting Camp President

Ladies need to hire someone to power wash the north side of the Auxiliary building and stairway.  Thank you, Ann

TURNER TROT - I wanted to give a giant thank you to the 110 people who participated in this year‘s Turner Trot! We had six-year-olds who finished 3 miles in under 35 minutes , we had two counselors finish a mile and a half in nine minutes, we had moms pushing strollers on these crazy Turner hills, seasoned Trotter's walking, all with smiles on their faces! Not only was it a ton of fun with a great athletic event, brunch and numerous Bloody Mary’s, we managed to raise just over $2500! A huge thank you to my parents, aunts, siblings and cousins who helped make the day happen.  Looking forward to Turner Trot 2023! Thanks,
Amy

POSTURE FITNESS - Sarah Shiller is teaching Posture Fitness classes again this summer. The class members decided on classes at 8am M-F with the occasional Saturday thrown in. This class is not just about sitting up straight! The Egoscue Method is practiced by all kinds of people with all kinds of bodies: Professional and amateur athletes who want to perform better, anyone recovering from an injury or wanting to avoid injury, seniors who want to become more independent and/or hold on to their independence, moms and dads who carry their kids around, and anyone who wants to look and feel better. Sarah works with anyone who wants to participate.  This week we are focusing on correcting dysfunction in the thoracic back (upper back and shoulders); next week we will be working on the low back. Regardless of the focus of a class, all participants can benefit from this whole-body therapy. Don't wait until the season is over to join! Classes are a DEEPLY discounted $15/week only for Turners (an incredible deal for therapy that normally costs more than $125 per hour) and 100% of the proceeds are donated back to camp to make Turner Camp even better. What are you waiting for? Thank you, Sarah

CANDY STORE - For the last several years, Donna Sawicki and I have had the pleasure of running the candy store. We are now looking to pass the ice cream scooper to the next generation of candy store ladies, or gentlemen. We plan on running the store again next year and would like to train the new regime in the summer of 2023 so they can take over for the 2024 season. Running the candy store is a two-person job, and you both will be exempt from the 3 assigned duties per year. If you would like more information about the funnest job at camp, please feel free to contact me on Facebook or in person at camp. Thanks ~ Karin Gunderson
